I have a url that just looks bad and is to long.
www.mydomain.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=3&filtertf_trdftnt[]=Buy&filtertf_trdftnt[]=Sell
Is their anything I can do to make that into something else? I dont like the brackets in it and prefer it to just clean up a bit.

Try using .htaccess rewrite rules. I'm not really an expert at them, but maybe someone can guide you in the right direction.
