hi to all my question is i have installed wordpress blog on main domain www.xyz.com and mybb forum on www.xyz.com/forums

can i create both on single database or separate new database required for mybb forums plz clarify


if i install both in single database any problems occur plz reply experts waiting for quick answer guys thanks for support

you can use a single database for installation of MyBB and WordPress

As long as you use different prefixes for your installations, you can use the same single database for as many installations you want.
Example: database1
Prefixes: mybb1, mybb2, forum1, forum2

So on and so forth.
