Full Version: Cant use 'help' as a username ?

A person tried to register at our forum and said it wouldnt let them use the word 'help' for a username.
I tried (tested) it, and it let me use the word, but didnt send the temp pswd to the associated email address.
At the ACP the user shows as 'activated'... but the user cant login, and no pswd recovery email is received.
Couldnt search/find any threads about the question.
Thoughts ?
Perhaps you should try another username? Are you using MyBB 1.8? The StopForumSpam addon may be blocking it?
.
Thanks for the thought.
As noted, the subject question came from another prospective user, and we are only trying to get some general idea of how MyBB may work in regard to that question... ie is there some MyBB 'rule' concerning the 'help' word related to usernames ?
We are using 1.8, but dont think StopForumSpam is being used... unless it normally comes with that MyBB version, and then it seems we would see it somewhere via ACP, but so far not seen.
The only plugins involved are noted below... some activated and some not.
