I've never used the warning system before and have a question.

I'm trying to set up a new warning level where if users get X points, they have their posting privileges revoked in a certain section for so many days.

I'm not seeing the ability to do this so maybe the warning system does not have this capability.

You can't temporarily ban a user from posting in a specific section for so many days. You can only suspend their posting privileges across the board.

it'd be nice if the warning system could be modified some to make it more useful.

You could always make a plugin request.
