I know it is illegal to redistribute MyBB, but what if you set up an affiliate system, in which the affiliates can be a download mirror, say your site is down, and a person really wanted MyBB, they go to another site, and see that the site is an official MyBB affiliate and has MyBB set up on their server for download, the person is happy, it spreads the word of MyBB and it helps in case your servers go down.

What do you think?

i have never been to the mybb site and it has been down so i doubt you would get many downloads.
