MyBB Community Forums

Forum Links were working and after removing and adding new forums and sub forums the forum links are no longer going anywhere
they are erroring out with a 440 page not found error.
the forums and their subforums were created in the admin section.

the forum address is
***/forum1/index.php

Installed about a week ago, version is 1.6.11

test user account is
*****
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

try these two steps and check...

1. ACP >> Configuration >> Server and Optimization Options >> Enable search engine friendly URLs? >> set this to Automatic

2. ACP >> Configuration >> Server and Optimization Options >> Use GZip Page Compression? >> set this to NO

rename htaccess.txt file as .htaccess through ftp or file manager available at your web host panel

1. ACP >> Configuration >> Server and Optimization Options >> Enable search engine friendly URLs? >> set this to Automatic

this one worked !!!
