I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but the CDN URL is not being used in the AdminCP. It would be nice if the CDN is used for avatars in the AdminCP when searching for users or editing profiles.
That's actually a good point. I'd forgotten about the ACP entirely!
I think the Admin CP shouldn't use a CDN. Otherwise it may get unusable when the CDN is down or someone specified the wrong URL.
I don't think it's necessary for required files such as javascripts, but I don't think the ACP will break if avatars are served through the CDN.
