Hello, ive recently started uploading my own photos to the server as attachments opposed to embedding links from imgur.

Now, unless your an admin when you click the photo it says that you dont have the proper permissions..

How do i change this so registered users can open attachments??

admin panel >> users & groups >> groups >> registered >> Forums and Posts (tab) --> Viewing Options
--> Can download attachments? --> check in and save the user group

Nope, still prompts with a login after..

Okay got it working, slightly different approach but it worked for some reason.

ACP >> Forums & Posts >> Forum Management >> (Choose Forum) >> (choose user group) Edit Permissions --> Viewing tab check "can download attachments".

You need to edit permissions for each group in each forum for it to work.

^ can we have your forum url, test user account and a test thread link where you have a small sized attachment
