I just test mybb beta 3 in my local server what i see is mybb version 1.7.2
check the Attachment for prove.

1.7.2 is the correct version number for 1.8 beta 3.

Also please use a proper subject when reporting bugs and make sure embedded images actually work. "new bugs" tells us nothing...
