So not sure what happened but my site has messed up. I believe it is a htaccess issue as i was messing with a rewrite rule for removing .php extensions.
However I ended up with no htaccess file and now I am getting problem.
when I click on some of my links such as "mydomain.net/index.php" it will redirect me to "example.com/folder/index".
Basically I just need to revert all the problems and make it back to normal. Does anyone have a htaccess that I could get?
If you are using CPanel, Make sure you have Show Hidden Files selected. You can also put &showhidden=1 in the url of File Manager. This enables you to see .htaccess and any other file that starts with a dot.
Is your forum URL set up correctly? Check the bburl row in the mybb_settings table.
Well. I THOUGHT I had show hidden files on but didn't. So I didn't know I had one. So then I made one and overwrite it. Then it all messed up. Then noticed I didn't have hidden files showing.
I ended up having to change the link on header from "domain.net/index.php" to just "domain.net".
Then inside my forum I had to change something else to a direct link. I guess it is working now but I don't like how I had to change some stuff.
Why don't you just replace it with the default htacess?

I have in the end, however I plan to use some SEO links so wanted less amount of mod rewrite to interfere as possible.
