Can anybody please assist me with this? What is this for and how to use it?

It's to restrict the load from MyBB on your server. I would just leave it set to 0. In Linux, load is represented in decimal, like 0.6, 1.0, 3.0, etc. A load of 4.0 on a 4 core machine would be 100% (not good), where as a load of 4 on a 2 core machine would be 200% (bad). That's not the exact definition of it but it's the easiest to explain.

Basically, unless you have a problem, leave it at 0
