I have created a test account:
Username: testaccount
Pass: Account1
Only PhP files are changes (screenhot)
^ if you have not changed code in those php files then can you reupload them from MyBB 1.6.15 package
and check if the referred issue gets resolved ..
I have reuploaded the files, it seems the forum deleted some letters in the post.
It does not help with the reuploades files. Cache maybe?
^ can you disable ckeditor and check again with MyBB default editor
