Hi,everyone IP.Board is expiring and don`t want to renew it, now thinking of trying free software, so the plan is to convert from IPB to Mybb.
Is there this type of converter?
Is there any other method if no converter.

I assume you're using the current version of IPB at the minute? If so, I believe there will be an up to date module for it in the 1.8 release of the Merge System. Obviously, it's a good idea to try the merge locally and see how it goes.

May I know what do you mean by locally.
In localhost (XAMPP can be used), using a database backup of your IPB forum.
Ok If your talking about mysql I used phpmyadmin to backup.
So I backup my IPB already, now what.
There is this:

But it might be best to wait as it seems that 1.8 will be coming any day now. Could even be within the next 72 hours.
Then they should start the merge system for 1.8
Otherwise you can merge to 1.6 then upgrade when 1.8 comes out.
All depends how urgent this needs to be done.
