Hey, can I change the minimum character value for my forums? I.e. so messages can be 2 characters long in certain boards.

Not without a plug-in or code modification. By default, it's a global settings.
So I need to request a plug-in to do this?
Is there no script I can change myself?
You can change the minimum for the whole forum (it's in Admin CP --> Settings --> Posting) but if you just want specific forums to have a different minimum character count, then you must request a modification/plugin to do so.
