I'm having a problem with the poll vote total being way, way off. 4+17=40?

This is happening on all polls, and only started when I installed the 'at home polls' plugin. It shows the total number of votes from whichever poll is on the index in every poll site-wide. Any ideas? Because I really like the plugin Sad

are you using the latest version of the plugin ?
it looks like referred issue existed in earlier version(s) & it was fixed

I'm running 2.2.
2.2.1 is latest version but plugin author says this only fixes a compatibility issue with another plugin, which I'm not running. I only use the basic version. I'll try updating in a bit, but my FTP is also playing up a bit today.
