Hello,

I am starting my gaming clan and i have recently my forum setted up.
but once in a while a weird bug comes forward. it gets an 403 error. but it cant show cause i removed the 403.html.
Thats not the problem, the problem how can i remove this 403 error cause its annoying me. I cant run a gaming clan while my forum has this weird issue.

this is the error im getting, you see a 404 not found cause i manually removed the 403.html for a personal reason
How can i solve this?

check server error log to fix such errors.

if your forum is running on MyBB 1.6.9 then it should be upgraded to 1.6.15

Its on a webserver, i dont know if i could access those logs, i run a theme that can't be used on 1.6.15 i tried with 1.6.13 and my forum literally crashed.

i found some errors looking thru it now, but mainly some avatars that couldnt be found. Still looking.

You should always use a latest version of MyBB. A lot of issues have been fixed since 1.6.9.

Can it be that i get that error mainly cause i didn't have any favicon.ico?

And like i said in previous post, i had a huge forum crash when i tried updating, it couldnt load my theme due to security reasons inside myBB so i rolled back to 1.6.9

Thats kind of you to post about that, but thats not my main problem. my main problem is to solve 403 error i recieve occasionally and it just happened again. I added favicon.ico to see if it was that causing the error but its not.
