There used to be this method to backend doku with mybb: https://forum.dokuwiki.org/thread/1851

Things have changed and now that doesn't work. So I see there's a authMySQL plugin that should deal with that now.
I'm not very web-hosting savy and would like to understand how to keep using myBB groups to control the permissions in the Wiki, so this way I only have to manage people and fight the registration spam in one place.



Someone else has been through this?

This thread should be in plugin support, not security management.

wow, i really hope that plugin cleans and limits the types of queries that can be put executed through those settings. I'd hate to see an admin PWD get cracked and then a bunch of DELETE and DROP statements saved here.
