I've installed the upgrade files twice now.
The upgrade notice remains.  The forum operates okay though.
What happened and how do I fix this?

You are currently running MyBB 1.6.12 whilst the latest generally available release is MyBB [b]1.6.15 (1615)[/b]

from which version you have upgraded ? are you sure that the required files are overwritten ..

From 1.6.12 to 1.6.15

I uploaded via FTP - the message didn't go away. 
So I unzipped the downloaded new files again to make sure that process wasn't somehow screwed up.
Then uploaded the new files again - being careful to make sure that I got everything uploaded to the right directories.

Maybe I missed something?
I don't need to run the upgrade script, do I?

^ upgrade script should be run as you are upgrading from version 1.6.12
