Is it possible to use wordpress data base for mybb? I would like to make it so that when users register on wordpress they can use the same login info for the forum as well, vise versa. If not, is there a plugin?
currently available
simple method is to use
external DB authorization plugin for wordpress &
disable
the registration on wordpress.
MyBB users can
login to wordpress with their
MyBB forum credentials.
but
single sign on system is
not available at present. that is, users have to login to wordpress

^ officially speaking, MyBB developers are not interested in concentrating on integration with other systems.
however a few of them have been working with integration of wordpress and other CMS.
Edit: MyBB version 2.0 is supposed to have API support for better integration with other systems
