I oopsed.
I don't use the breadcrumbs on any pages but forum.php and I completely spaced it and whiped them completely from the templates.
How to replace please?

That's odd. I was pretty certain that the breadcrumb trail was called that because as you went deeper into the forum, it extended out in a series of link extensions that create a "where you came from trail" that you can easily click to get back with. Hence the name breadcrumb. Unless of course you never read Hansel an Gretel?
Of course I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.

I only want it on one page - the forum itself. The forum has taken a backseat to the other priorities of the site. There is a custom menu for the pages, so no need for any other navigation then the breadcrumbs on the forum page.
I will figure it out eventually
