The ideas site was removed a few years ago (I think in 2011).
I think it was still accessible and active until the 1.8 design change of the main site (you can still reach it via the old menu - e.g. on the extension site)?
No, it wasn't accessible in any way since its removal.

When Chris rebuilt the servers in June 2012 the ideas site was removed completely.

It was a part of the process of reducing the amount of software we ran to limit the attack surface. We also moved the blog to Wordpress.com and replaced the Wiki with the Docs site.
I see, time runs faster than I want to believe - didn't think it was back in 2012 when I last checked the ideas page. Might be an indicator thhat it wasn't needed so badly
Thanks for explaining this issue, I just wondered about it when I saw it in the menu but wasn't able to access it via the extensions page today.
