somebody should make a plugin that emails you backups of your forums every X amount of days.
its too large for email most of the time.
contact your host and see if you can just download the account backup from your control panel
That depends on your mail settings. MySQLDumper can backup your databases and send them via mail, works even for 200MB database files (gzipped):
