Can you get live update from Mybb Staff?..I think we all wait for mybb 1.8...!

And i hope we can get a "live update"!

not sure what you mean by "live update from staff".
it will not be a difficult task to upgrade your forum from 1.6.x to 1.8

I think by "live update" he means realtime updates from the staff regarding the status of the release.

Twitter is probably the closest to a source of "live updates" you'll get. Our account is @MyBB.

And now the 1.8 forum category is gone o.O

Wow that was fast :o Yeah, I hided them to avoid confusions with the two support sections - they still exist, but only staff can see it atm.

Whats the current eta on 1.8's release, could we be seeing it today?
