i downloaded fresh 1.8 and installed via ftp over the other

Jones H meant on which page this error occurs... when I visit adminads.com I get some warnings but not the error from your screenshot...

did you run the upgrade script? Did you keep you settings.php and config.php ...
Seems like you didn't run the upgrade script - did you? The column is new in 1.8 and I'm sure it's added during the upgrade.
no i didnt run any script i have backup of 1.6
You must run the upgrade script..
