The upgrade script can't update modified templates. Please check the upgrade docs how to update templates.

now i know whats the problem but how can i upgrade my template?
the upgrade docs says go to template then "find updated template"
i try to use "diff report" to upgrade but i dont khow what i have to do with green highlight and red highlights?

^ well, yes. customized code will be removed.
in the templates Diff Report =>
highlighted with light green color code is expected code (which should exist)
highlighted with pink color code is your earlier code (keep if required)
plain text should be retained
I too , am experiencing this , members get a message saying the system has detected they are spammers , is there a solid fix for this ?

UPDATE:
My issue was that the defualt theme set was a 1.6 theme , after making my 1.8 theme the default everything is now working , new members are now able to join
