I have the same issue in posts:



If I click the "View source" button to view the quote tags/code, then I can type above it. But Jovan thinks I don't have to, so... there you have it.

I use Firefox, and I had the same problem in Chrome.

you can check in http://www.sceditor.com/ same issue happen.
you can use partialmode to avoid this issue...

This problem was one of the reasons that made we add partial mode

I was hoping it was user account specific. The problem for me is with using MyBB.com, not my own boards. I'm leaving all mine are 1.6 for now.

so you can use source mode...
UCP » Edit Options » Other Options » Put the editor in source mode by default

Ah I was looking for something like that earlier but expected to look for a drop down box and missed it.

As this seems rather a SCEditor issue than a MyBB issue I'd like to mark this as Rejected. Other opinions? Shall we try to fix it?
