Hi, I have installed a fresh copy of MyBB on a new server and want to restore my previous forum into it.

I have backed it up via the Admin CP but how do I restore it onto the new forum?

You need to use the restore feature in phpMyAdmin to import the database.

I don't see any restore function

I see an Import function?

Yes it's called "Import"

You doesn't have enough permissions to create a database. Remove the following line and create the database manually:

CREATE DATABASE `2692_mybb` DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_swedish_ci;
