I'm getting really tired of this site not letting me in.... I'm the head admin for the sub domain and yet 90% of the time I can't get onto it.... Every time I clean out my cookies I have to switch browsers..... I don't understand why. I've gone through the log in/log out article over a hundred times, and for some reason I'm still having issues..... About a week and a half ago the site wouldn't let me log in at all and I tried under three different browsers... And now I'm having the same issue... I can't log in at all....

I can't afford to not clean out my cookies... It's not good for the computer and eventually I wouldn't be running anything because I have so much junk in my computer.... HELP!!! Sad

URL for site I've been having this issue with since... Well since I mid august is... http://mystic.illusion.legendofthelands.com/

Site that's it parent site that works just fine is.... http://legendofthelands.com/
Sorry I forgot to reply to your other thread.

I used the login details you sent me before and tried in:

- Chrome
- Chrome Canary
- Safari
- Opera

And they all worked fine.

Only thing I did notice is Firefox seems to redirect to http://mystic.illusion.legendofthelands....picker.css because /css/colorpicker.css doesn't exist, might want to look at that.

I didn't realise there were two sites though, try setting a cookie prefix on both of them, does that make a difference?
Well that's good. I mean that it works for you, that means it's not likely to be an issue for anyone else. Not that I like it being an issue for me, but that's a step in the right direction.

What would I set the cookie prefix too and.... Where would I fix the /css/colorpicker.css thing at?

Sorry if these seem like stupid questions, but I take no shame in confessing that I'm a rookie at all of this.
For the /css/colorpicker.css thing, I guess see if your theme is including it somewhere; check Admin CP > Templates & Style > Templates > **templates set for your theme** > Ungrouped Templates > headerinclude.

It doesn't really matter what they're set to as long as they're different between the sites; some simple word to differentiate between the sites would be fine. I'm suggesting this as I think what might be happening is it's getting confused having cookies with the same name for two forums on the same domain, so the cookie prefix will basically just force them to have different names.
Yeah, that sounds logical. I will try that and see what happens, and let you know. Am sorry to bother you with this Matt, but I certainly appreciate your help. Big Grin

EDIT: Matt! You're my hero, thank you so, so much. You have no idea how nuts that was making me, and that fixed it, checking the other thing now. Thank you again, really and truly.
