Is there an option to stop email notification for admins, such as new user registration etc.

Yes can do this, just follow this:

usercp> edit option and set up your settings.

I'm looking for global option.

there wont be any email notification for admins, when a new user signs up unless you have set the Registration Method set to Administrator activation

ACP >> Configuration >> Login and Registration Options >> Registration Method

Administrator activation option has been set to "yes". But still I think there should be a global option to stop "notification of emails" irrespective of all other options.

The thing is that, the inbox is full of "user awaiting activation" emails and also for me personally, its unnecessary load for the server as Admin's are active in the forum all day long.


I request the mods to move this thread to "1.8 Suggestions and Feedback" if there is no such option.

What can I do?

i am having same issue.
Although I am an admin other admins look after oking the new members. I dont want to be notified but although my settings are as above pic I also still get the emails.
Annoying!
