Alrighty here is my problem, so it works fine when adding an image in the editor:

 
It displays as text:



This is also the same for post images, if someone could help i'd appreciate it!

do you have any images related plugins / MyCode in activated state ?

Nope, actually this is the same for videos also.

Check if the option below seted to yes.
ACP > Configuration > Board Settings > Clickable Smilies and BB Code > Parse [img] MyCode To Guests

If option seted to no, you need change to yes.

And also there are settings at user control panel >> Options --> Thread View Options
