No. GoMobile theme is yet to be modified to suit MyBB 1.8 - earlier version can be used (as is) on 1.8

well, there is a possibility of TapaTalk update for MyBB 1.8 in near future

I did not use tapatalk because have to add many codes to surce to make work some MyBB functions in the way they have to work.

I use GoMobile and im fine with the results on this plugin and works fine on 1.8 only have to change some templates and have to work fine.
