Today I upgraded my mybb to 1.8 and after 2-3 hours when I want to enter to ACP I see a new thing (security code) it wasn`t in 1.6.
Where can I find my security code???
your MyBB forum files server >> inc folder >> config.php file (use ftp client / file manager)
find code like $config['secret_pin'] = 'abcdef'; <-- abcdef is that security code
go to your forum control panel and look for open ./inc/config.php
and you will see thi:
$config['acp_pin'] = 'yourpin';

you need to share the pin with them.
Why the hell do you need to enter SECURITY PIN if you didn't active this feature while upgrading to 1.8.?
