I finally got around to upgrading to 1.8 and am having some problems.

File Verification returns:

Congratulations! No corrupt files have been found on your installation.

Issue #1) Per the instructions I disabled all plugins before upgrading.  Now when I try to activate any plugin (e.g Akismet 1.2.2) I get the following message:

Quote:This plugin is incompatible with MyBB 1.8.0

Are all my plugins really incompatible?  Or is there some other issue?

2) The theme formatting is all messed up.  The nice, blackish, menu bar across the top is missing.  The text is still there but it is aligned left with no formatting.

3) I'm also getting the following errors in the firefox debug console:

Quote:Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined jeditable.min.js:38(anonymous function) jeditable.min.js:38

Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function inline_edit.js?ver=1800:4
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'change' of null forumdisplay.php?fid=3:757
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function forumdisplay.php?fid=3:794

So I'm not sure where to start.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
1. Check http://community.mybb.com/thread-158487-...pid1098761 (you can change the compatibility line inside files in inc/plugins, but it may not always work).
2. Do you use the default theme? If yes, try recreating it: http://community.mybb.com/thread-158870-...pid1100165 (number one).
3. If you are using the default theme, 2. should fix it. If not, provide an URL to your forum and a test account.
Awesome!

Thank you Mr. Destroy666 :-)

EDIT: I love the new look and feel. Good job to all the devs!
