The new MyBB 1.8.0 editor has lots of bugs.
For example, you wrote text and you now want to change font size or font name. It works but if you go to "view source" mode, you can see that each time you go wrap, every sentence has its own mycodes for font and size and it also works on quick rep box and on pm.
It also is so when you make ordered and unordered lists.
Why doesn't anyone from the dev team seriously take my thread here?
I really find the new editor bugged so much and I'd like to see everything fixed on 1.8.1 as soon as possible but it looks like no one really cares about this topic and no one wants to check out or to fix bugs on the editor!
Probably because:
a) You didn't post it in a bug reports section... Moved there.
b) You have to be patient, we are volunteers and it may take some time to get your threads answered.
About this bug - I can confirm, but that's a yet another SCEditor bug and not sure if we can fix it. Same happens here:

If you not liked sceditor, you can try use source mode, partial mode, or use CKeditor plugin

I guess they are flooded with bug reports, that's why this happens. As for the saying; "It's a SCEditor's bug"... That means MyBB team will need to fix the SCEditor bug even though it's not theirs. They have added the third party code and relied on it.

I disagree. MyBB has no obligation to fix all the problems of sceditor.
All full WYSIWYG editor has a lot bugs, not only SCEditor. Not something solve changing editor or something.
MyBB priority will always have to be the fix core part of the MyBB and not third party code.
You alway has support of SCEditor in SCEditor, and not here.
On PC is pretty fine, but on iPhone.. It doesn't let you type when quoteing in full reply. Neither move typing cursor.

Why don't you remove SCEditor and insert CKEditor or another WYSIWYG Editor that doesn't have a lot of bugs like in SCEditor as the new default editor in MyBB 1.8.1 release? It would be awesome!
Because it wouldn't be very smart to release a major version with one editor and then implement another one from scratch in a minor version. It's not a 5 minutes job and we'd probably end up introdcing even more bugs..
And I'm saying that as a CKEditor fan.
