Can someone have alook at www.esforum.org for me? I dont have any new post buttons and the welcome box doesnt seem right.

I deactivated all plugins prior to upgrade, the first time I got sql error messages in the main page but then ran the script again and they vanished. Another attempt didnt solve this issue sadly nor did reverting my templates back to original but my theme doesnt seem to have changed to the 1.8 either and if you look at a post, that dark blue in the post background cant be right

Clear your Browser Cache - that will sort out your blue background

can you try making a new default theme by using method 1 given here and check your forum by switching to it

renaming my default theme and importing the default worked a treat, cheers guys. now just see what plugins i still need
