I'd like to understand this too, specifically how to get to call MyCode that I add with the MyBB mycode editor.
With 1.6 I added a single line to editor.js, and put the image under the editor themes path. How do I do it with the new editor?

I don't have that editor in my copy of MyBB 1.8. I also used search to see if I could find it that way, and it's not there.
I have the MyCode all set up and it works if I enter it manually. All that's left is the button.

I really don't understand why this function is not built-in ?
