i upgraded from 1.16.14 to 1800, and most everything worked well.
had a problem getting to the admin panel, but deleting the admin directory and replacing it with a fresh copy fixed that. i then manually removed all the plugin files that said they were unsupported - i had deactivated ALL plugins before the update.
I also reverted all the themes to stock. I hadn't been using any new themes, but several items needed reverting anyway, likely due to old plugin remnants.
reply to posts work fine, but posting a new thread doesn't. seems like a glitch, but its hard to describe, so im uploading a snapshot of what i see. Essentially there is nowhere to type any text. And it seems like the one menu bar instead decided to become a list, displacing the area for the post text.
ideas?
