Well ladies and gents,

I have downloaded to my computer the database (in plain text) from my old board that was on the old host using myBB's DB backup from the Admin control panel, (old host didn't have phpMyAdmin).

I also downloaded the inc/config.php file from the old board. I installed a brand new copy of myBB on the new host (totally different company as host). My old board was V1.2.2 and of coarse the new copy on the new host I uploaded is is also V1.2.2.

Just not exactly sure what the next steps are. The new host does have phpMyAdmin, by the way. Hoping this will be pretty simple from here on...would hate to loose all the content from my board.

Should be simple from there on. Follow the three following steps

1) Upload your backup via phpMyAdmin
2) Change your inc/config.php to match the new settings
3) Rebuild your settings.php

And all should work
