But I am still unable to login to the forum (I CAN log into /admin).

My settings file looks correct (regenerated), I've cleared caches up the wahoo:

$settings['cpstyle'] = "";
$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".westernyaoi.com";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/";
$settings['cookieprefix'] = "";

You can try to login here: http://westernyaoi.com/portal.php
but only redirects to the same page without logging in (or even giving an error if it is wrong login).

Actually, changing the theme seemed to make it work! So never mind, it was a crappy theme.
