Dear members,

Is it necessary to Reinstall for restoring a database? I Mean is it a requirement that a Fresh Copy of MyBB be installed to restore the database.... Suppose i have a duplicate forum of my Original.. and If something goes wrong to My Main forum i wud quickly restore the database .... Without wasting time in adding all the plugins , Mods and other changes that i wud need ... [ Since they wud be alredy installed in my Duplicte forum ]...

Any Suggestions ?

No just reimport your backup if it's in the same database. If your moving servers or installing it under a different directory you'll need to reupload all the files, change inc/config.php accordingly and reupload the backup to your database.
