I want to add a custom banner of size 728 x90 below header and 300x250 in the post area.
Unable to find any solution. Any mod or code modification that can be used.

Note: I am not using Google ads, but custom made image banners.

you can use MyAdvertisements plugin

If you're using the latest version of Mybb & that is 1.8 then for such plugin to develop.

If you're at old then you can go with the one linked above.

I have used the mod My Advertisement. But it is automatically get expired.
There is a option to expire the ads after a period. Even on setting the expiry of 30 days. It get nil and hence ads get removed from the forum..

^ looks like you are mistaken. while adding the advertisement, the plugin clearly states =>

Quote:Days to expire
Enter the number of days until this advertisement expires.
(set to "unlimited" (without quotes) if you want it to be unlimited)
