So I tried to enable the Search Friendly URLS, and it won't let me save the setting. I have the file as .htaccess, and it won't save the setting once I've enabled it.

Is there a specific thing I have to do?

When I click on a forum that requires admin permission (such as one that can only be viewed by administrators, moderators, and global moderators), it sends me to the No Permissions page, and I have to login or it doesn't work.

I am an administrator on the site.

is your forum installed on Apache server ? can we have your forum url

I use Hostgator, and as far as I'm aware, it uses Apache for the server.

That's the forum URL, though I don't know about the other forums that are guest friendly if they do the same thing.
