Hello,

I wanted to make a small change to the copyright footer, so that it is only on one line and looks better.

Instead of it saying:

"Powered By MyBB
Copyright © 2002-2007 MyBB Group "

I hoped to change it to:

"This forum is powered by {link}Mybb{/link} - Copyright © 2002-2007"

--------------

Is this permitted?

Thanks.
I think so, but I could be wrong. I am new here too. I will let the ole pros answer this one.

Welcome to the forums... Glad to have you!
Big Grin thanks
You must have the "MyBB Group" after the years and it must also link to the site.
Quote:The minimum copyright is:
Powered by <a href="http://www.mybboard.com">MyBB</a> / Copyright © 2006 <a href="http://www.mybboard.com">MyBB Group</a>

Though you can have it on one line and separated by a comma instead of a slash.
Actually, the minimum copyright is:

Powered By <a href="http://www.mybboard.com">MyBB</a>, Copyright © 2002-2007 <a href="http://www.mybboard.com">MyBB Group</a>

As far as I know, it has to include both the year 2002 and the current year (which is automatically generated anyway).
See I was wrong... Thanks to the pros! Smile
Ok, that seems tight. If it is going to say "Mybb", why do I need the word "group" in it?
Because we are the group. It's not copyrighted to MyBB, as that is what is copyrighted. It's copyrighted to us.
why you need to remove the word "group"? the result will not much deffrant. it's just a little word, but we must leave it as MyBB Developer want it. they support us for free, and we can't keep a little thing for them? I don't think thats fair.
thats my openion.
