I have recently migrated a forum from IPB to MyBB it's not a very large forum at 66,138 posts and 2,364 threads.
I am a little concerned by how much bandwidth the website is using.
I am taking all of these statistics from cPanel.
Sep 2014 HTTP usage 17.59 Gig
To work out the average per day over a 30 day month.
18,000 / 30 = average 600Mbs a day
If I look under "Latest visitors" in cPanel and sort via size.
A simpleĀ /showthread.php?tid=1699&pid=63823 is size in bytes: 176,099 for example.
But a /showthread.php?tid=1576&pid=19353&mode=threaded is 985,446
What is &mode=threaded?
I've looked in the raw access logs and .htaccess banned a few select IPs.
I've check the sites theme and it doesn't seem very large, Is there anything else I can check to see why pages are large and to narrow down what's sucking the bandwidth?
