Dear MyBB Forumers, 

I have globally turned off Friendly Redirect from the "Server and Optimization" section. 

Can I turn on Friendly Redirect on certain user only? There's an option in the Options CP but it wouldn't turn on.

You need to use a plugin if you want it on for certain users only and not allow anyone else.

Not that I am aware of. You can post in Plugin Requests though and someone may be willing to create one for you.
