Is there a way to include my custom page instead of 404 widget? Or maybe there is a way to hook to this function with a plugin and show my own content?

add this to .htaccess... and upload a new file named 404.php to your server with required content... it could either include mybb or a simple page...

ErrorDocument 404 /404.php
