Ok, so a plugin install went horribly wrong and it wouldn't install without doing stuff to the forum loads of times (it was one where you had to set the chmod to 77 of certain files and I forgot...)

Anyway, I eventually had to remove it by editing the plugin datacache in the database...by hand.

Can't MyBB make a way of rebuilding the plugin cache?

The problem is MyBB doesn't have a table to rebuild the data from as it's stored directly in the data cache.

However if your talking about plugins that have been removed from the plugin directory but not deactived I guess that's something we could implement for 1.4.
