Full Version: Please update the plugin (header&footer)

To insert the code statistics for the header and footer.

I am helping to make themes for 1.8.
And when the theme is updated again have to edit it.
This is very inconvenient and takes a long time.

When the theme is updated, all who have a MyBB forum, you have to manually add the code again, so need a plugin!

I found the plugins, but they are old:
http://mods.mybb.com/view/header-injection-for-mybb
http://mods.mybb.com/view/footer-injection-for-mybb
Please update it, make two windows, one for the header and one for the footer.
I think you can combine the two into a single plug-in!

You could also if you so desired perhaps find usage for the "MyBB Ad Rotator" I updated for basic 1.8x usage originally mentioned and provided here: https://community.mybb.com/thread-51727-...pid1255292 and avail at: https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=875

* All three will perhaps be improved further if and when I have free time and find an interest in focusing further beyond the basic updates and such already done for their 1.8.x usage of said plugs

This plugin isn't safe! - Don't use it as it is - it could be vulnerable to bad exploits.

Cool story bro, just curious if you post the same non explanatory rant on every plugin that allows you to add code to your board? In theory any of them could be vulnerable by an admin inputting intentionally malicious code..., but alas that is the administrators personal issue wouldn't you say seeing as the admin would only be affecting their own board. Thus, not enough of a concern to invalidate the usefulness of a tool because we as bbs users/designers/developers are clearly not psychologists or psychics..., why would we then be panic mongers over the  minute possibility an admin downloads and installs and then chooses to intentionally input malicious code on their personal board that is clearly not relative to the actual plugin in question? The plugin does what it says..., it does not define how you use it or what you input..., as that is the end users freedom of choice.
