All ready getting spammed via pm. Not a very good advert for the software. Please check my pm's to see it, if you can

This has got to be the quickest i have been spammed. It was under 5 minutes of registering. They must run some script or something that detects new signups. I have to admit i am unsure if the software is very secure now...

Who is "they"? Could you report the PM sender(s) or at least link to the profile(s)?

While MyBB is not perfectly secured against bots (no script really is), it could have also been a human spammer who can hardly be stopped by any anti-spam measures.

Yes maybe. Is their a way a human could know i have signed up so quickly?.

I have reported it with the report button as spam..

Ummm.. They could just refresh the index/memberlist page to see the latest member(s)... And 5 minutes isn't that quick for a bot.
