I was thinking if we can have a plugin for MyBB 1.8 version. On searching the board the most recent thread : http://community.mybb.com/thread-146915....ighlighter .m. gave these two links :- http://mybbhacks.zingaburga.com/showthread.php?tid=271 and http://mods.mybb.com/view/mybb-syntax-highlighter-v1-1 

I wonder whether they will still be okay or not. Since they have not been updated. First one was for verision 1.2 and the second was for 1.6 but not updated recently. 


So, will there be a release about it soon or if someone can upgrade the second plugin then it would be great. Thanks.

plugin coded for version 1.6 is expected to work for MyBB 1.8 by changing the compatibility line in the plugin file.
AFAIK, so far such plugin is not made for MyBB version 1.8

In order to test it before uploading to servers. I just did a test installation for MyBB and installed the plugin and it works fine. Still I was thinking if there were some security loopholes.
